...means "to foam", in the sense of a wave foaming.
This test is liek urgh argh die now kthxplz.
But there's a nifty thing called "summary" in the two remaining books. They will be a great help. I'll probably be able to send this in tomorrow. Great, then I can go and bitch about my essays.
Why is there no rain? It's supposed to look like it does now in August, not the beginning of June. But it looks like, finally, a more certain prognose has been done for rain tomorrow.
We had Saint Erica stay over here tonight! She was super nice and we had a great time chatting with her. On some promptings from wolf and her I made a lemon-merengue pie one day early, it's his birthday today. She'd missed the ferry and needed to take this morning-ferry in order for trains and stuff to run properly... I love having random lrpers stay over here. It's happened quite a few times now, people we've met on lrps and are somewhat acquainted with.
Tonight's dreams were vivid. Discussed my preference for curvy ladies with someone, and I have no idea why. I had to explain how I like girls to have curves; sure, a less curvy one is fine as well, as long as the proportions are nice (short legs, for example, is a maybe), but I do love a nice rack and a nice butt and a nice waist. It might have something to do with buying some stuff in a clothes store yesterday and having the chance to scrutinize myself in the mirrors from all directions. That food poisoning made me drop a few kilos, though I'd rather had done it another way... and I rediscovered my magnificient behind. Sorry, people, but I am really quite proud of it. With those legs and that waist and then the torso, too, muscled because of my practicing iaido... Ah. Made me feel good for the rest of the day!
Girls girls girls women women women. Urgh. It's true, what I said to Lacryma, I'm really more into girls at the moment. Men are fine, but... give me a woman right now. "...and how come the bi girls always get stuck with boyfriends?" Wise words.
On another matter entirely, wolf was very happy with his birthday gifts! Two pair of socks, he needed those sorely, and a shaving foam soap bar to use on the lrp, and then a tree of life necklace, carved from wood by talented Geoff whose garden we camped in Woodland Treasures is his webpage. His stuff is nothing short of amazing. There are pictures of necklaces similar to wolf's on the page, though his is of a bright wood and very patterned. It is simply beautiful, and worth everything when wolf realised I'd bought it for him.
I really miss that family. That's a haven, if anything is, their place.
Now, to studies, and beyoooond...!
Short edit:
It is raining. My beloved island is finally having some rain. Not here, not much. But it is raining, in a few locations, it has been raining, and tomorrow might almost certainly bring more, perhaps enough to keep the trees alive, if not revive the grass for very long. For it is not certain that there will be rain before October - that is a truth, that is a month when we can be certain it will rain, but not before that. (Or is it? The weather is no longer something to be even "reasonably certain" about, anymore).
Edit Thursday morning:
It is raining. Blessed goddess, and Ulmo of the waters, it is raining.
Edit Thursday afternoon:
Dear gods, I migh have to sit with this shitty test for yet ANOTHER day. How the HELL can something be this heavy to write, to do? It defies all logic and sense. And feelings, for that matter.
Edit Thursday night:
Yatta yatta yatta! Dagnabbit but if I'm not almost finished. Have to mop up a bit among the last additions to the last two questions, but oh, how I love the feeling of being able to enjoy a ten minute break instead of feeling stressed about having to rest. I think I'll celebrate by... sewing a little, perhaps? Some preparations for the larp, at least. That's bloody free time compared to what this has been, and what the rest of the summer will be like. 'Cause now that I've finished this, I HAVE to deal with the stuff I've put aside...
