Two questions finished, going on the third out of five. This test is easier than the last one. On which I have a partial re-test.
Wonderful weather. I looked the babe yesterday. A dash of Tokyo street fashion, minus the bad-fashion-sense-part of it, and my wardrobe, with a definite goth feel. Very cute. I just had to get out. Shopped for shoes with Iwhy on the phone, heck, if we can't be in the same city at least we can go to the same chain of stores and look at shoes together via the phone, right? Very nice.
Also, "Sleepy Hollow" was on yesterday, so I drooled over Ichabod Crane and laughed my way through the very fine example of a good movie. Mrrr, the dresses... And drew a couple of variations for an Inquisitor's outfit - I'd DEFINITELY not mind playing Kyrie, but she's way cuter than me, and I could also imagine a couple of other character-concepts that would work.
Today was a blast, or, the hours spent on practice at least. Not much else but my studying has happened. Anyway. We didn't have the ordinary kind of practice, since we were only five, but we had fun. It all started with Gairniaut putting on all his protective gear, and then Sles, and then we took turns bashing away at eachother with the shinai. We would practice attacking and blocking, and then we just... kept going. Even dragged the new guy up for a bit! But hot damn, is Grus (so many puns in different languages with this word it's not even funny) hard to beat or what! Of course, he drives a preeetty pretty Suzuki motorcycle and looks hot enough to distract me, but that is beside the point. Such a weakness for me, that. Handsome guys and pretty girls, fighting them's... just a bit trickier.
There were some blemishes here and there for everyone, as is proper for such practice, especially after Gairniaut brought out the "daggers" and one staff/spear... eheh, heheheh... I managed a REALLY BLOODY STUPID action that made me hurt my right hand little finger quite badly. Sles had the staff and we were messing around a bit more flashy than proper, me with two bloody shinai, and as his swing took the staff behind him I thought "yay opening" and managed to not block but actually cut right at the staff that kept whirling along the same axis and right around at me... Brilliant. Well, had I kept going I'd have cut him down good, but oh well.
So, the hours passed with us going at eachother with various combinations of weapons and Gairniaut telling us how you could take a guy with this weapon down if you had that, and vice versa. I learned a lot. Terribly entertaining. Got me in a very good mood, too! I think I'll try and write another question, and then do something creative, if I feel like it, I need to get up early tomorrow again...
I want to practice more often. It doesn't matter that my body's breaking down on me, I can still write after today so it's all right. Mmm, but now, it is summer (spring, at least) and that means I can step outside, or take the bike, and practice outdoors whenever I feel like it, weather permitting.
I even braided my hair Ynera-style today, with two French braids (I think). Helps me if I can pull out some of her characteristics when I fight!
Turns out wolf is going to "Code Fenix". I had no idea that was the larp he was going to! Sounds like it could be wicked fun, really wicked. And meanwhile, me and Daerilin might possibly go to explore the island of Mel'ora... Wolf is considering being the spoiled looking-for-gold alchemist brother of Iwhy, too. I hope this year will be a good year for larping. That, if anything, is something I really need my fix of.
Magnamund. Midsummer's night. Ashika. Mel'ora. Fririke. Club Finit. If even just half of these happen, it'll still be a gooood year...
