The Middle Ages Week has started, and it did so carefully at first, but then, like it does - better and better. I have six rows of pearls, a necklace with a silver coin from Araby somewhere a thousand years ago and rings on my fingers, beautiful dresses and hairdo as well. It has been sunny just like it should be, and I've met many, many friends and acquaintances, which is even more as it should be. It all felt kind of complete after meeting Rob and daughter and the other two magicians. There's nothing I really really want at the market, and I've spent no money except on food. Iwhy's bought a beautiful knife and a cup and other things, and Daerilin a headdress which is just gorgeous for her.
Wolf walked around looking pretty but rather mage-y, and all in all, it was a relaxed day. I think we did three or four rounds around the marketplace, and we also took it easy on the grass and visited Kapitelhusgården quickly.
In the evening, I went to see "Utlottningen", a musicalisation of how, in our oldest history, because of many bad years, it was decided that every third man and his household had to leave the island. The lottery struck young and old alike, they took refuge to Torsburgen... and so on. It seems, also, that this is actually something that happened, in the fifth century, since we have a lot of abandoned house grounds from that time. But who knows. It was a nice concert, not as strong as "Volund" but still very good, and I liked going there with my old housemate Disa.
So now my feet hurt, my energy is somewhat restored, I've met most people I want to meet, the angst isn't that bad this year and I want hugs, hugs, hugs and cuddling. Oh well.
