...means "airy, breezy".
I have somewhat been neglecting this place, though I don't mind. I've got so much to do anyway. I'm going to be incredibly much too late with the German, but I don't feel like caring. I don't want to call them, anyway, even though I have to. I wanted to learn, and everything sort of fell when I realised no, I was not to be allowed to study it during the summer when I had TIME for it, but in the autumn - and then I got a job, too...
So much stuff I need to do, and cannot. Because I work really odd hours (tell me, how much time do you have AFTER work if you stop working around 8 pm and then have to keep doing stuff until about 9?) the time I DO have is generally the three to four days I am home on my island every week. And then, it takes one day to recuperate, of just random nice stuff such as sewing and some cleaning up (a half to one big box per week, is what I average... still about ten to go).
I like my job, though. It is fun (I might say something else another time, but that is the general feeling I have, and the feeling I have now, as I write) and I like it. Saturday was a BLAST, great fun! We released the "Assault on Blach Reach" box set, and the store was full of people from opening to closing, sometimes (often) full enough that you could just barely squeeze through the store, and then definitely not out of the door. We still ran intro games, and sold more than we hoped for. We had speedpainting competition, painting competition, unveiling of the new 40K table, lottery (THAT was crazy, let me tell you, the amount of people...) and bitz jar revelation.
I was also dressed up. I painted golden =I= on my leather coat, aquilas on the ammo belt and shotgun, made myself cybernetics and went around and was an Interrogator all day. Esteban was a Rogue Trader, whose ship I was travelling with, and as if that little improvisation wasn't enough, both of us were semi-in character all day long. Awesome, I tell you. Absolutely wicked.
Afterwards, everyone was exhausted, but eventually some of us ended up at some pub in Gamla Stan - that has a GOOD selection of whisky, has that TRUE pub feeling (oh, Scotland, I miss it CRAZY much right now) and good music. And it is akin to a maze. I like the people work with.
Other things that have happened... hm, my left knee gave up, so I've been using crutches pretty much every time I leave the house, just to make sure it doesn't get used any more than necessary. My birthday is coming up, but I'm working. Everyone else puts more stock in my birthday than I do. I'm just gaining a level, what's the big deal?
Then... The work with my elvish outfit is well under way! I need a character, but that is slowly coming to me, as well! I'm working on the shirt and the tunic simultaneously, and I love them already. The work with the other lrp is going well, too, I'm gathering my soldiers next week for a first meeting.
I have craploads to do, it is mental, really.
In the middle of this, too, that old acquaintance Loriel and I have been chatting pretty much lately, though he got a dose of Unseelie me two years ago he did dare to contact me (as can be read) and it is kind of nice to be talking. It does, as evidenced, drag up a lot of memories from the mists, but I'd say that is a good thing, even for me. I need to work some of them through, and if I can help someone at the same time, I'm more than happy. We'll see what happens, and if things turn out well. I'm hoping so!
More things... been loosing a lot of hair lately, I think I should make sure to sleep more and eat better, and also get out more. It is hard to motivate oneself to take a walk when all one does is stand up all day, though... I really want a permanent couch or room in Stockholm, it is a bit tiresome to move around your stuff all the time. Speaking of which, I should find a couch for this weekend. Hm.
My fox is home this week, which is terribly nice (of course I have to go away to work for three days, but that's life for you), and we're sewing together and just enjoying our time. I do get irritated though, because he always fething leaves the dishes unwashed, and doesn't put things back where they belong. If one does, it is so much less annoying, and you don't have to do it later. Or have to have me go mental about having to do it - over, and over, and over, again.
And it doesn't MATTER how many times you say it, or how many times he says "Oh, I'll think about that" because he DOESN'T and he doesn't change, and I hear "You've never said anything about that" much, MUCH too often.
Oh, I have. You just don't listen. Ever. Do you?
Lastly, Gairniaut has once again proven his ridiculous, stupendous amount of unreliability. Gods, do I hate it when "friends" are unreliable like that. And by TEXT message! Call us, what? No... Then he might have to take the conflict directly, or even, at all! WUSS, do you hear me? Fucking be brave for once, and, oh, STOP thinking everything is everyone else's and everything else's fault! IT ISN'T. You, my dear, are getting worse, and I would DEARLY like to hear what you've said about us in our absence, you jealous prick, because I can bet you HAVE said things, and, turning back to nice again, if nothing else I, for one *glare* want to become a better person. So, instead of shittalk behind our backs, do tell us to our faces, will you?
Gah. Worked up now. Got to become calm again. Food. Food is good. Less acid, more sunshine.

Bought Black Reach today. First "army box" I've ever bought. Great value. It'll extend my Salamanders and give me some nice Orks... whenever I get round to doing them (more green...yikes).
But tomorrow I get smashed into the next dimension in a grading at the dojo. If I live I'll do some painting.
Or, more likely, just lie down.
Congrats! I doubted I'd ever buy one, but Black Reach is a bloody good box, tbh.
(Aye, more green ^.^;;; )
I'm hoping you'll have the best of luck! Not in getting smashed, that is, but rather in getting your grade, and having fun :3 The painting... well, if your hands are shaking, lying down is a better idea, aye?
