Sinyë

...means "evening" in quenya.

Hellhammer is tabletop ready, as are most others. But I'm not satisfied, quite, and I wish I had enough figures painted for a proper army. Oh well. Wolf is lending me Logan Grimnar and a bunch of Space Wolf Terminators, so, I think it might be okay, but still.

Also, regarding the name, "Fiat Ignem" might be the name. It means "Let there be fire" which, can you guess why, I find highly fitting. Besides, it's a quote I've carried since my young days as a Tremere.

Speaking of Tremere. Lost my Tremere pin. And had I but fething gone back a few steps! I heard it fall. Saw something glinting. Thought, "Nah, that's not from me" and ran to the train. FUCK.
Next day, lost my wristwarmer that I got from Iwhy as a Yule gift. I loved those wristwarmers, fuckitall.
And the day after that! I lost my bloody special-sole! I need those soles, or my feet, knees and entire legs go very wonky indeed. And I've lost one.
I'm thinking that Fast-Attack Bag of mine doesn't want to be my friend anymore.

Three days, three really bad losses.

I think I can add another piece to the puzzle of my life. Iai is the number one, the most steady. Then we have my belief in equal exchange. Alchemically influenced, of course. But you have to give, to receive, and if you get something, you will also loose - or give - something. I'd have preferred to give...
So. Equal exchange. And "I don't believe in abstention." I suppose I go Jez's way in that, because I still find that moderation might be all right at times. But to abstain from things? No... no. Rather not. It's time to put that lurking opinion of mine out on the main shelf. I don't believe in abstention.
Especially not concerning iai. The more, the better. Though it looks as if I might sacrifice one day of iai for one day of... Well. I'll let you guess. It's an unarmed martial art, and I might be starting it as soon as I possibly can. Let's see you guess, everyone. Might be fun to see what you come up with. I think it will fit me well, and give me a bit of mobility and better maai, that will benefit my iai.

What else, then! Well, studies are going reasonably well. Money situation is sucky. Will visit foxling again next week, for a short while. I hope to see the runestone in the church then, and go skiing.
Had one of the best Saturdays I've had for a while, despite feeling a bit sick when I woke up, from waking to bedtime, it was great. Work was sweet, and then I went to a restaurantpubtavernthingie and managed first to enjoy the best Ardbeg I have EVER tasted, and then have an awesome time with people both known and previously not known. Halfway to Medieval Week now! I need to get that harp, if I'm going to play a bard for "Tuonela's Gate"... if I'm going. I might, though. The Count is ever so nice to talk to, and, if I may indulge a little, seems to be quite charmed by me. "...you danced quite a lot during Medieval Week, didn't you?" Aye, heck, I danced whenever I got the chance! Seems he noticed me then. And I think I managed to cheer him up a bit! He was quite grumpy when arriving, but cheery when I had to leave.
Ah, music, good company, and a good spot for the festivities.

Wrote a postcard to sensei today. Hope it arrives soon, and that he replies.

Feeling helpless about a friend of mine, who's too far away for me to do anything but offer words, when said friend really needs one of my hugs and possibly a bit of mental protection. But, at least I can try with the words!

Am itching to play some Battlefleet Gothic, but I doubt I'll have time tonight, and then I'll be gone for a week and a half.

The sun has been a nice addition both yesterday and today. Oh, and while I remember, I got an extra day of work on Sunday! Money money money... though mostly, I do it because it's so darn fun!

Have had quite some inspiration lately. Writing, drawing and painting. I long for some roleplaying, with Anjie especially, but lacking opportunities, I suppose I'll have to settle for writing and drawing.

Enough babbling for now. Song for the moment is The Mission's "You make me breathe."
