Coranar

...means "sun-round (year)" in quenya.

What has been up? A couple of things. Forgot my cable on the island, and was therefore very sparse with using Vincent for a week.

Visited dearest, liebling fox. They had SNOW! And LOTS of it! So I went skiing. Gods, I've missed that. Skiing, see, doesn't hurt my knees at all. So I can go for miles and miles (or kilometres and kilometres) and really enjoy it. No pain, I can get fit and also, I love being out in the quiet woods filled with snow.
Visited grandparents, too, which was very, very nice. And had a quick meet with dearest Sister!

Had A Talk with foxling, too. It seems he has accepted, intellectually at least, my... you know, it feels most natural to call it "defect". I was, after all, brought up much like "everyone else". Monogamy, heterosexuality and some kind of steadfast faithfulness is the norm.
Other people can't grasp how I can love several people at the same time, and yet all of the glasses are equally full! I, au contraire, cannot grasp the opposite. ...love only one person? And for one's whole life? What an odd thought. It would be so easy, and very nice! But... what an odd thought...
So, anyway. He knows, and accepts, that I feel love for other people, but that it doesn't threaten my commitment to him. One step along the way, I'd say! The talk turned to other matters after a while, of course, but we were if anything even more close and loving after that. Very nice.
Next day, I made him and his brother lemon-merengue pie, and it turned out most delicious.
I miss the snow and the quiet.

Getting back to iai practice was oh so nice. I am now pondering whether to stay in Sthlm next week, to be able to practice (and also, I don't work next Sunday), or to go home for a few days, relax, wash up some clothes, paint a few more figures, get my books, stuff like that... I HAVE to go back the week after next, anyway.

Today was mostly nice, discounting my incredibly late lunch, two or three incredibly annoying customers and the fact that around four pm or so, starting in my hands, my body decided to give me the proverbial hell. I kept focused, concentrated, didn't go off the floor, and then we closed and I just sank down and wanted to cry for the pain. Bloody ouch. My hands were the worst, by far. It makes me grumpy and grouchy, and it makes me unable to concentrate. I didn't want to move, yet I know that sitting still doesn't help. I grabbed, in desperation, a Citodon, which made it go away, until about now. So I'm going to bed and hoping that tomorrow will be better. I've not been entirely well today, I feel, I wonder why.
