The peace was kept. A puzzle helped, though it also made every member of the family leave the living room at some point, mostly when mother started bitching.
Morning of 24th: Me and wolf had our own little celebration, just waking up, on the floor in front of our tree, with the night slowly becoming morning. He gave me, among other things, "Howl's moving castle", the dvd, and I was very happy ^-^. The beautiful bone comb from Rand was one of the best gifts, I think. And Zombielicious made me squee over the great book of "How to walk in high heels", oh, you should see it. I already followed one of the advices in it! The day then continued with be being all slow and relaxed, before wolf finished work and we went out to my family's. No Donald Duck this year, le gasp. I have missed it before, and Arne Weise isn't on it anymore, so I don't mind. The dinner was sumptious as it should, the Christmas tree wonderfully radiant and glittering, the gifts filled with secret joy and my Christmas doll, that I got so long ago, was out again. It's handmade, with the cutest smile, and yarn hair.
The "X-Men trilogy" Agust gave me was super nice, and my dear frog-eating brother of a temporary Frenchman had some interesting eatsies for the family at large, and a Type O Negative cd for me - ah, the depression... Mother gave me a wonderful nightshirt, or dress, rather, but the best thing from her and father was the rice-cooker. W00t, I tell you, w00t! Agust hit right home with the mechanic Rent-a-zilla... I mean... errr... tin dinosaur that you could wind up, to wolf. It was the entertainment of the evening! Chocolate and some money from grandmother on father's side, and nice handicrafts from the other pair of grandparents. A puzzle with fairies was another lovely gift, as was a book the other few gifts I haven't already mentioned.
Thank you, all, more so those who do not read (oh, mother found out frog-muncher has a blog - I think I managed to let my mouth run - but we managed to get her off the track, I hope, and by the gods, yes, please, every god and goddess in existance, do not let her find us!!!).
Sleep was restful.
Oh, forgot to tell you. Morning of 24th - stretching out, to make a small ache around the heart go away. It got worse. I tried relaxing. It got worse. I tried moving. It got even worse.
The whole of that day was spent carefully breathing, carefully moving, well, doing everything carefully as more or less whatever I did managed to make me wince, gasp and yelp in pain. Coughing was interesting. I managed to find a spot to press to make it hurt less. Laughing was out of the question.
Sleeping was interesting, too. Right side, exclusively, a little on the back, too. I tried left side twice and woke wolf up by my cry.
Interesting. Yep. Hurt like the blazes. I think it was something with the muscles and the lungs, rather than the heart. I didn't particularily want to find out, honestly. It has hurt like this before, for a day or so, but usually it passes quite quickly. You know how it is.
And today? Still hurts, when I am careless. Couldn't sleep on left side, but it was better yesterday, and even better today. Physical exertion was out of the question, though. I wonder what it was. I'll settle for strained muscle!
Well. Sleep. Two dreams - one before the alarm went off. Malk was there, we were at AIU, just... walking around. Oh, one stair included some acrobatics to get down, but still. First part I ran around in my white training suit, with sword, since the aula had been booked... Or something. Then it became white skirt and top. Don't remember quite what we did, other than keep company.
Second dream, as I fell asleep again, sucked. Old ghosts came to visit. Let's see... there was a city. And a hotel. That wasn't. And suddenly I was all hot for wolf, which hasn't happened for serious since June, May? or something. So I went down on him to give him a nice lapdance, became naked, and... well, he was happy. I was more like... "Eh... WHAT? Over already? I just got in to steam!" but he was "Hey, we can go again soon! It was real nice!"
Well, wolf wouldn't do that, nor react like that. And the flicker over his face, the face itself - that was NOT wolf. That was a ghost, a memory of bad things, a certain person with whom I had a relationship for about 8-12 months too long. I rushed off to the toilet, where people kept coming in until I shouted at a boy that "Fuck you coming the fuck in here, get the fucking fuck out you little fuck!" and he did. The mirror was strange, but it did show me in all my goddess glory. I think I wore makeup.
Anyway, I woke up, thankfully. I hate those kinds of dreams. Blargh, I say, blargh!
Yesterday was nice, so I don't know where they came from. Mother and wolf took a tour in the kayaks, on a mirror sea. Today was calm. Managed to wake a very ill Malk up, blah. People, please, I feel so guilty when doing so... even though it's your own bloody faults for not having turned it off or keeping it on sound off.
But I bought some glitter and stuff at the sale. Not much, mind you.
Then... well, me and wolf have eaten and watched "Constantine". I knew he'd like it, I'm so happy it was a good Christmas gift!
Now, maybe SirEmma, Malk and one of the Filips may be coming over to play some W40K and maybe see a movie. Frrrrr.... *purr*
Have you got it in you?
Yes. The peace was kept. Christmas came upon me like... I don't know what. But it was nice. Ah, and I read the whole "Noblesse Obligé: The Book of Houses" with the Seelie houses. And Liam is not existing in my version of Changeling: the Dreaming. Redundant, stupid, iffy house! Nope. There are still thirteen houses, though... six Seelie, six Unseelie, and one split. I know you will never find out all of them, unless you're as deadbeat a fan as I am. Teeeheee.
Next up, the Unseelie houses, then the Lost Houses, and so on... Reawakening the Dreaming again.
Dream on, dream on, dream on,
Dream until your dreams come true.
Dream on, dream on, dream on, dream on,
Dream on, dream on, dream on, yeah.
Not a very good song, but anyway. "Dream on" by The Mission UK. Dream on.
