I miss the sakura and the camellia of Japan. Very, very much.
I was in time for the bus. I started felting my hat almost immediately. Mother had some felting project too, and I realized as I stood there that her and me have, as far as I can remember, never, ever done anything even remotely like that. Any kind of mother-daughter-project-thingie. Sure, we've gone skiing those few times, and there was that time we happened to be in Gothenburg at the same time which meant I rode with her in the car there and back again, but other than that? Nothing. As far as I remember, at least. It was kind of nice. She knows her thing well, and the hat is as good as done, after I worked on it today again.
Had nice evening with youngest brother, eating dinner and watching "Final Fantasy: Unlimited" which was disappointingly bad. I didn't enjoy the art or the style of drawing, I didn't enjoy the story - it did pick up, but puh-lease - and the characters weren't very good. Also, I suppose I've tired of the stock-anime "same formula every episode" thing, too. But, we had fun. Also, saw a little of "Azumi". Couldn't decide whether good or not.
Besides felting hat, also went hunting for fishing stick (rod would be an exaggeration) with youngest brother. Went very well, we had a lot of fun! Sunny and warm, also. Very nice. Now have hooks, line, floater, stick and hat. The larp is as good as set.
Practice was all right first half, then too much talk. Managed to poke Gravel in the eye which made me feel very bad, I could have made him blind. Very bad. But, he forgave me. Still doesn't feel good. Hope I can make it up some way.
Sleepy. Maybe should fix with essay? Or sew? Don't know.
Had good time back home, though! Very very good.
Three things that went well today, and three for yesterday:
Riding the bus. Felting the hat! Being around mother. Playing with youngest brother. Being around father. Biking.
I am thankful for:
The good times that do happen with my family. Pretty flowers. That my body is still mostly working. That I can pat little lamblings.
I could use some help with:
Cheering mother up. Control over body, movements and mind. Staying above the line.
