Cowslip

Wound up sleeping over at the troll's place. Very practical, as is close to school. Not much sleeping done, though.
Stupid double-booking. Ran to wrong classroom at first. Opinionating (or whatever it is in English) went well. Fairly boring, but was good. Some interesting essays were presented. Still like mine. Need to do the last touching up, then will be finished.
Took a break at the troll's, then went home. No washing clothes today, but tomorrow. Have eaten - eating is boring, takes time and is not often something I look forward to, but I am well prepared for iai. Will apparently be filmed.
Sleepy.
My body is saying "Eurgh, what you doing?! Running? Crunches? ...excercising?!!?!" Not as bad as feared though.
The music from "The Last Samurai" is very epic. I like it a lot!

Edit: Yep, practice was great. Was filmed, this guy needed some reference I suppose. Very good, though. Difficult to keep concentration. Especially since thickheaded boxing guy was blatantly staring and later took up my time with meanlingless blablah.
However, sparring with Grus was gorgeous fun! Wham, smack, thock! I've got a nice, big splat of reddish blue on my right buttock, some way below my hip, and behind. But I got him good in return. I though I't be pwnz0rzd but I held my own very well, in fact, even when we got into close combat and brawl. Defeat your enemy with your mind, and you will have defeated him, or so Miyamoto Musashi rightly said. That was the key. I was not clearly beaten, though I did, unconsciously figth as if with a katana, and he with a longsword - very different styles, I'd say he had the upper hand with a bit more of a versatile style (or, so we have been training, my iai is rather rigid) and two edges on the weapon. But I think my years of experience and most of all, my mind, helped me to be some kind of reasonably good opponent.
Greeted our most beloved star (funny, I tried picturing it as a star, as a planet... all those years... but not until now, when I give up and see it as a white swan ship, with Earendil sailing, the silmaril at his brow, do I actually feel it is right) and the moon. Saw her rise, greeted her - she had a strange light, a fey light, something tells me my dreams tonight will be... true. And troubled.
I wish I could spend my life gazing at the moon - under a tree, on top of a hill, beneath the falling cherry blossoms, far out at sea.

Three things that went well today:
Criticising an essay. Biking uphill twice. Practice - iai and sparring!

I am thankful for:
Good dreams. Positive experiences. Iai - always, always.

I could use some help with:
Making sure everyday is as good as it could possibly be. Being plain nice. Keeping my good moods.
