...means "bird".
Ghosts. There are ghosts in my room. Or maybe that should be Ghosts. Hah. Hah. I am so funny today. A ghost, or Ghosts. I've got "Titanicus" and "Only in Death" standing on a shelf not far from me, as well as the Munitorium Manual. That is quite neat. I've promised myself I should finish "Health and disease in early Lund" first, though, I really, really, really need to get underway with studies again.
I have no idea of what I am going to be doing this spring.
Work was fun last week, as usual, with one exception. A parent, whose behaviour, and there was a lot of it, had me go cold inside and then down to the toilet where I used cold water to hide the real reason I was there for several minutes. Bastard. He totally made that day suck. But what's good with working where I do, with those I do, is that they are awesome, and they are on your side. So, I had backup, and we spat acid over various such customers when we'd closed. It's December now, and we know how this month of the year will be. No matter how enthusiastic we are, there will be people just seeing it all as a money-sucking enterprise made up of weirdos. They miss the point, but there's not much use wasting too much energy in explaining it to them.
Stayed in Stockholm this week, it's awesome because I can practice four evenings this week! Tonight was good, I like working hard, and I like the beginner's nights as well as the more advanced ones, because one is never fully learned. There is always something really basic that needs more work. Me and my sword are both happy. I am wielding him with considerably more ease than I used to.
Am eating way too much dried fruit. But... it is... so good! Dried melons, apricots, strawberries, apples... and nuts. And chocolate-covered nuts. And it is very reminiscent of lrping, so, that makes it even better.
Still in the throes of creativity, writing on the interlude time for Anjie and on "What if Geira and Sam met". It is really going well, I must say, and not only I think that the Geira-Sam thing is good, my fox said he liked it a lot, and that I should send an excerpt to Black Library. I probably should, but AFTER someone who does not know either of the main characters have read it through... And when I've worked up the, I don't know, momentum to do it. But yeah, I also know how BL do their recruiting, so, maybe not, after all.
"Mechanicum" was so very, very good.
And... next week, I might possibly be stopping by Gothenburg for a few days. Just a few days, but still. I don't think I can afford it - but maybe. We'll see.
