I am going to cuddle my iaito all night long.
Um. I got a mail from Kuriyama-sensee to come to the Auditorium after her lesson. And Oohara-sensee was there (the 7dan iaidoka), and had an iaito for me to try. It is about one centimeter, maaaaybe two, too long for me but I still got to borrow it.
I'll be needing it for the two seminars I'm going to. One in Akita-shi, and one in Yamagata - the very birthplace of iaido.
*grin*
It turns me on just holding it.
I am so sleeping with that by my side tonight.
Oh. I guess I'm lucky my bed is broad enough, hm?
Not much else for today. Didn't do too bad on my lessons. Have added zapinthespace.com to my list of webcomics. Tjohoo!
Went to Aeon an bought a yukata, "cheat"-obi (no have to tie stupid rose) and geta. Greyish white with grey-blue flowers and thingies. It is gorgeous.
And not too cheap, but furk if I care right now.
In Yamagata I will buy my own one. Iaito, that is.
I have no idea about how to get it home. Have to ask Raili-sensee I think.... hohohoooo!

Wolfie, it's just because you're not here to be cuddled with. Otherwise I would probably not cuddle it as much. Only about half of the time.

Don´t worry I´ll get along with the japanese people just fine. As one of my friends in Uppsala told me. "I can see you walking around there, giving everybody sarcastic remarks in swedish". hehehe... how true. well you just hang in there I think wolfs right in what he said. Luckylucky me narrowly avoided the dreaded omtenta as you have read so now I just have to start prepering for Akita and working my ass of in the harbour. Besides we are (hopefully) three persons who are going to Akita all three of us is about the same when it comes to geekboy factor. ah well hang in there, you´ll get through it. jaa ne.

Sounds real nice, the sword of yours. I will have to wait until the middle of august for mine. I hope there will be no problem bringing her home..!
I´m going to compete in Copenhagen the 11th of june(two days after my graduation!!). It is an open competition for all styles but I guess that there will be a lot of karate-people there... I´ve never fought against anyone whose practising karate, that sport is a lot different to our "thai boxing-kung fu" sort of style. It will be real exiting! But I guess the best thing is that I´ll have to keep my hands of the bottle thoose last days of school (except a glas of wine and some whiskey..!)

I have just returned from Akita myself, where i was lucky enough to stay two nights at Ohara Sensei's home. he is one of the great teachers - you are supremely lucky to have had some time with him! well done!
