Better than sex

Returning from one hour of iaido, I could only sit down and meditate. The calmness, the clean and beautiful happiness, the clear mind... wonderful. So invigoriated, yet so calm.

One thinks this could even be better than sex.
It certainly gives a whole other kind of satisfaction, one that is rather more fulfilling. And anyone who knows my rather boring but unusual ideas of sex should now look worriedly in the direction of me wolf.
Nah, no worries there, honestly. But I won't go into that more, anyway.

Where was I? Oh. Yes.
I learned so incredibly much. Wow. I wish I could tell Oohara-sensee how much I admire him, how much I respect him and how immeasurable this experience is to me. It goes beyond happiness and well-being, beyond just perfecting my techniques in so many ways.

I don't think I can properly describe my feelings.

So, the rest of today? Slept, and dreamt about someone singing... it was very beautiful, the voice was clear and sweet. Then I was sort of awake, and without connecting the two events I was mildly said pissed about the one making noise, ie singing, and grumbled "shutup" and went back to sleep after the song stopped.
It was Tseegi, of course, and I know I like her singing voice. But in that state I apparently didn't....

Shopped. AGH! But, an omiyage. And some stuff for Saturday's Tanabata-festival. I am apparently to be teamed up with Hiroshi - which I do not object to, he will be a good accessory to make me look good (heh, I have to tell you all about when I dressed up to be a good accessory for Zaramis, a friend of mine, some time). But I still raise an eyebrow.
Since people first teamed up "japs, japs, japs and oh, the two gaijins". ...COME ON!!!! Apparently, Ramone threw a fit when seeing that, and, being rather good at getting his point across AND also being the student president (this is Japan, after all) he sort of said "That is discrimination." and then we had a nice two hour discussion in class about the us-them syndrome and some related topics. YES, people. IT IS THAT BAD. It is not consciously they do it, it just is.
http://www.outpostnine.com/editorials/teacher.html for some of the best things I have ever seen written about the subject. It is worth to read it all through. And laugh. If one is or have been to here, one will.
I look forward to it, I am very curious about it though. My new-bought fan will be a nice addition. Still a bit worried, what if my geta does not match? *looks to her guru for help*

What else, what else... oh, yeah. Talked to some of the new students, and to some of the Chinese girls. I like two of them a little better, I admit. The little spunky cute and aggressive one, and the lady. The others are still a little... but, they are okay.
And I have a goal: learn to pronounce the new Mongolian girl's names. And remember them.

*cuddle with wolf*

I shall try my best and 0wnz0rr my sensees back home.
*ahem* The screaming impoliteness aside... I really want to show them I have gotten better, and thank them for introducing me to this.
