"Oh, I'm glad you came! I was just going to go to Oohara-sensee for my iaido lesson. Do you want to come?" said Kuriyama-sensee, and I had a mental picture of throwing up my hands and all that I held that was homework.
So, after a morning that was not so interesting except that I started on that blasted anthropology thing and had my weekly conversation with Ayano-san, the day took a nice turn.
We went to Oohara-sensee, and had a great couple of hours. Mm, "wow" is a good word. I learned so much. Hopefully it sticks.
Then I came back some minutes past 6, and decided I did not feel like going to kendo. Instead, I actually did some homework... some...
Most of it was done up until now. And I am not done, but to darkness and back with yomimono! *yawn*
I did get a nice thing, though, a nametag for my kendo armour. It says 亜満陀, which, I suppose, could translate to "Unfulfilled/"almost there"/not quite making it/halfway, satisfied, Buddha". Ain't that nice...
I didn't choose these myself, by the way, but it looks decent.
Gothenburgh, you still lead the list in "places whose rain I hate". I mean, this is just fun, what with the absurd pounding it manages. And it is quite nicely warm, too.
I can concentrate so damn good after iaido. Yay!
