Through time

Today, I held a katana from the Edo era. Which means it is 300 years old or so.

Then, I held one from Muromachi period. That one was 700 years old.

Not much else to say. It was awesome.

Bad luck day.
Overslept, woke up 9:05 and five minutes later had dressed, redone my hair, printed 3 copies of my presentation and arrived at Dolin-sensees office. There was president professor Nakajima. And professor Mock (I respect him a lot) and Kuriyama-sensee (that was... the worst, I think).
And Dolin shaked his head, and said "Not a good day for this" and I could've cried from embarassment, this has happened, what, twice ever? Anyway, I held my presentation after Naranchimeg, and it was apperently quite acceptable. Phew.
Nakajima-gakuchoo was very happy, he said, that two international students had already read the book he has named official book of AIU, namely "Bushido - the soul of Japan" by Inazo Nitobe. The English in it is... difficult, to say the least, but it is interesting.

Then I crashed Tseegis mug. And was filmed while having a "panel discussion" under the eyes of scary professor Lacktorin.
Lunch must've been bad, I felt sick.
Field trip was embarrassing as I understood very little of what the woman said.
I forgot money and had to borrow from Anders.
I missed the bus from Aeon and bought a GLB to pass the time.

Then, the bad luck ran out.

Well, it is interesting to be back in #fret and on ICQ. I like it, but yet I find it unfulfilling. Lucky I can study at the same time, most often.
Ikebana final went good, I think. Worry about Friday, though.

Iaido practice was great. I learned, after a year, what my mistake is in cutting! *HAPPY* And so on. Hm. Gotta ask Ooda-sensee concerning pictures of those katana...
