Show them what I've got

Lack of sleep is me. Or was, at least.

The paper for Mock-sensee's class will get me a C, at least. That is all I need and care for, anyway. I might get more, it was pretty well written considering the screaming problems I had - 5 pages with double space and not the usual way of going to the library, reading a lot and finding information. But it was interesting to try and walk around and ask people directly instead.
I stayed up until 4 or something, and then I put on the sleeping goggles because the sun was rising. Anders went to bed a little earlier I think, I read through his paper and it was pretty good, again considering the length we had.
(The iaido training in Budokan was very nice, though. Even if I got frustrated about some of the mistakes I am so aware of, but can't seem to make myself change.)

Friday afternoon was oh so sunny but I needed sleep very badly... Last practice before taikai went so-so, I had problems with, of all things, bowing and getting the sageo to be where I wanted it. And noto. Bah!

Sleep was not so restful, but I got up. Sunny day again, all spent indoors. The taikai was interesting, though apparently I was not to actually compete. Before the finals, however, me and two others that only had kyuu-grading held a performance in front of everyone else. I managed quite well to fight down anxiety and nervosity, and didn't do too bad. I made all too many mistakes for my own taste, but I managed to avoid some, for which I felt good. Many sensee came up to me afterwards and pointed out things I had done well or not so well, and in all it was a very, VERY good experience.
Though, I had a hard time practicing afterward. My feet and knees and arms and... whatever, every joint hurt. Dunno why. Sleep deprivation for weeks is my guess. But hey, I don't even WANT to sleep 10 hours!
Grrr, I just want to be able to cut like I should! No uncomfortable sound of"crack" in shoulder, the perfect "swish" when cutting, no stupid wobbling... aaargh!
Irritation.

Tired. Again.

Done nothing but chatting since I got back home.

Miss you, wolf. Right now I do not have words for how much I long for you, and look forward to meeting you there on Arlanda when I finally arrive.
And yet, it feels strange to give this up. The most important aspect is the practice of iaido. You know, I got a movie - as a gift, no less! - from an iaido 8 sensee, I think he is, (to be able to watch and learn even back home) and he just told me to "come back in November" and get my shodan.
HAI!!!
