Indisposed

I am a very ill little kitten today. Yestereve was oh so very pleasant, and I did sleep rather well. It is however, to my great dismay, raining right now, and the snow started melting during the night resulting in a rather icky mix to bike on. I walked from the southern gate of the city wall, had a not too boring lecture and then did a real find when "shopping". This shopping was caused by my trying to walk up the streets without any soothing pastilles for my throat. Not a good idea.

There was the pretty, pretty, pretty lantern I'd seen at Alex's and Blackheart's place! I bought it immediately, and a silver foil star. Then I walked into the ever so calming place of Solkristallen (The Sun Crystal), and browsed around. I found a lovely green tea with eleuthero and liquorice roots, lemon verbena, ginger and chicory root, orange blossoms, honey and ginseng in it, which I hope will help chase away the cold, or at least ease the coughing. Trying to bike home was easier than this morning, except for the coughing that made my eyes water, my head spin and my lungs and throat feel like someone was trying to tear them out. It was something like when I ran too fast, too far at Arlanda, though I didn't exert myself at all this time. I had to sit down and rest in Konsum, shopping for groceries, and try my very hardest to not cough. Somewhere at the counter I started regaining conscience and realized I'd not bought much at all, and definitely nothing that could be used to make a quick dinner, but at least I remembered the Läkerol.

I did get home, and did something very adventurous! I ate fastfood noodles, and hey, I didn't feel sick and throw them away. The tea, by the way, was delicious and soothed my throat well. I am now considering a bath with a lovely cute little pink fizzy bubble bath muffin that Zombielicious sent me, but I am worrying I might fall asleep in the bath. I need to study like hell, too, as I have fallen behind, but being ill does make it tricky to remember anything I read...

Later, at 9:44 PM
The bathbomb fizzled and bubbled, and the water turned all pink and nice-smelling! The water was so hot I had to keep the arms and legs outside in the beginning, but when I finally stood up again it had gone cold. I did read most of the Shanks and Tilley article, but how much that stuck or that I understood I'm not as sure of. I am sleepy and I want to have more tea because my throat took a turn for the worse again, but I think the bed is time to be hit... uh... you get the point.
