It would seem I can be cracked. In good ways, too. Cracked and shattered. That is very good to know. Coming out of a low is always an unsteady process, luckily, I didn't have to stay down for very long. It takes a lot to get me out of there, if you're not me when I'm not being pig-headed about being down just because I'm so bleeding down. In short, anyone else might give up and give me the finger before I get up.
Am I not wonderful? Such an icebitch.
Well, anyways, the shell broke and shattered and I'm back again. It wasn't just that, you know, there were several pieces of crap that decided to surface at the same time. In a way, it was a case of putting me back together, dragging me out of the hole and using a 1D6+2 solid frying pan to crack the shell, all at the same time. Making me stop self-loathing and self-pitying and generally disgusting was also part of it.
In a way, I think it was all about talking to me. Force me open. I'm back on track, in a way.
A wind, not too cold or too hard - just a wind from the West, from the sea. The clouds, running across the night sky, thinned and revealed stars, until they were gone completely and only the myriad of lights lit by Elentári occupied the sky. A moon in the trees, and the old wall right by.
It was a nice way to end the walk. The rest of the whole making your feet move you forwards was just getting back home again. I didn't get too wet when I couldn't resist but jumped into the wave meeting the shore.
I am of the stars. I feel at home, with the wind in my hair. This place is the most beautiful in the world, and if I have to turn my sleeping habits to crap to avoid the people, which in my opinion have no place here whatsoever, then I will. I foresee a good year of many walks. No, I hope for it, I don't foresee. But I hope.
Let's see if we can find a cat to cuddle the next time, too. I liked that.
